About us

Sara is an LICSW originally from Columbus, Ohio, obtaining her undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from Bowling Green State University. Sara moved to Alabama in 2004 and obtained her master’s degree in social work at the University of Alabama. She worked in law enforcement as an SRO for 8 years before transitioning to school Social Work during the pandemic and eventually to individual counseling and addictions counseling at Bradford Health Services. Sara is excited to join the NAPA team! Her experience includes working with families in crisis and individuals with a wide array of diagnoses from ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Grief, Anger management, Autism and Tourette Syndrome. Sara also works with people in recovery from substance use disorders and complex trauma.

She is currently In-Network with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama and will be credentialed in the future with Aetna, Cigna and Tricare. If your insurance company is not listed, please call your insurance company to see if you have out of network benefits that will cover Sara.
